The link above takes you to a video about scientific law and theory. Here is what I learned from it.
Scientific Theory: Is a hypothesis that has been repeatedly tested and had not been dis-proven yet. Theories try to explain why and how something happened. Scientific Law: Is a fact recorded after observation. It predicts the outcome of certain initial conditions.

Inductive Reasoning: The process of drawing general conclusions based on many clues, or pieces of evidence.Inductive Reasoning: Draws probable conclusions from the premises. May not always be correct.
Deductive Reasoning: Logically certain that the conclusion is correct from the premises given. Science: A way of learning about the physical and natural world based on evidence and logic through observation and experiment.Scientists study many different branches of science. Some may study the microscopic atom and some may study larger objects, such as stars. Though they study different things, all scientists have the same goal. That goal is to understand how and why events happen. It takes a long time for scientists to understand why events happen. Most advancements happen very slowly, and can takes years to complete. The reason it takes time is because of the gradual accumulation of evidence and information. The accumulation of information lets scientists refine and work on earlier idea. An example of an idea is the atom. The idea was originally formed in the early 1800's. Scientists only began to understand it as more evidence was brought forward over the next two centuries.
